Activate a terminal

Activation step by step

1. In the business portal, open Branches and select the branch that owns the device.
2. Open Devices and choose Activate device.
3. Select Staff terminal, Kiosk or TV and enter a recognisable device name.
4. Generate the one-time code. The terminal URL and the code expiry will be shown on screen.
5. On the target device, open the displayed URL, enter the code and confirm activation.
6. Wait for Rowomat to open the appropriate Staff, Kiosk or TV surface, then verify the device in the portal list.

Important details

• The code is one-time and is not used again after successful pairing.
• A name such as ‘Reception tablet’ or ‘Waiting-room TV’ makes the device easier to identify later.
• Do not enter a portal login on the terminal device; it has its own secure device session.
